Terms of Service
Last Updated: Aug 27, 2026
By accessing this website, requesting a quotation, approving artwork, or placing an order with The Packaging Boxes Australia, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions.
We may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice. Any revisions will apply once they are published on this website. We recommend checking this page regularly for updates.
The Packaging Boxes Australia owns or has permission to use the materials, designs, samples, photographs, and other resources used when providing its services. We may photograph, present, or share examples of completed packaging to show our products, print quality, and design capabilities unless a separate confidentiality agreement has been arranged.
Copyright Notice
All content provided through this website, including text, information, software, photographs, graphics, illustrations, icons, layouts, designs, models, and other material, is owned by or licensed to The Packaging Boxes Australia.
Content from this website must not be copied, altered, stored, republished, transmitted, distributed, or used commercially unless prior written permission has been obtained from us.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Design assistance may be included without a separate upfront fee as part of an eligible packaging order. However, when a customer cancels after our team has carried out design work, artwork preparation, or setup, we reserve the right to retain or deduct up to 30% of the applicable order value for the time and resources already used.
An order may only be cancelled before production starts. After printing, manufacturing, cutting, or finishing has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled.
Where a refund is approved, applicable design, setup, transaction, production, or administration charges may be deducted before the refund is processed.
Website User Conduct
You are responsible for every file, design, artwork, piece of text, image, trademark, and other material that you upload, submit, email, or otherwise provide through our website.
By providing material, you confirm that:
You own the submitted content or have permission from its lawful owner to use it.
The submitted material does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, intellectual property, or any other legal rights.
The material is not illegal, abusive, defamatory, offensive, obscene, deceptive, or harmful.
The packaging you request will not be used for any unlawful activity.
The Packaging Boxes Australia does not independently check the ownership, legality, accuracy, or suitability of every item submitted by customers. We are not responsible for claims that result from material supplied or approved by a customer.
We may refuse or remove any content or order that we consider unlawful, offensive, harmful, misleading, or likely to violate another person’s rights. We are not obligated to explain why an order has been refused.
We may disclose customer details or submitted material where it is reasonably required to:
Meet a legal obligation or respond to a lawful request.
Apply or enforce these Terms and Conditions.
Investigate suspected infringement or illegal activity.
Safeguard our website, customers, employees, business, or property.
You must submit complete and correct information when using our website. The website is provided for legitimate human use. Automated abuse, fraudulent behaviour, unauthorised access, or attempts to interfere with the website may lead to account suspension or legal action.
When placing an order, you confirm that you have the authority to purchase the requested products and permit The Packaging Boxes Australia to manufacture those products for you. You also confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
Accounts and Passwords
You are responsible for keeping your account information and password secure. You remain responsible for orders, approvals, instructions, and other actions carried out through your registered account.
Your password must not be shared with an unauthorised person. If someone gains access to your account because you did not adequately protect your login details, you may remain responsible for activity carried out through that account.
We may ask for further personal or business information where reasonably required to verify an account, process an order, prevent fraudulent activity, or satisfy legal requirements.
By accessing and using our website, you agree that your information may be collected and handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Permission to Use Submitted Content
When you provide artwork, designs, text, logos, images, or other files for an order, you grant The Packaging Boxes Australia a limited, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to reproduce, adjust, store, process, and use the submitted content only where reasonably necessary to prepare proofs, manufacture the packaging, retain production records, and complete your order.
Indemnification and Limitation of Liability
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Packaging Boxes Australia, including its directors, employees, representatives, suppliers, contractors, and service providers, against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal expenses resulting from:
Content provided or approved by you.
A claim that your artwork or packaging violates another party’s rights.
Illegal, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or unauthorised material.
Improper use of your account or password.
Any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.
If a claim results from content or instructions you supplied, you may be required to assist in defending that claim and reimburse reasonable losses, settlements, legal fees, or court expenses.
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, The Packaging Boxes Australia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunities, data, or reputation.
Our total liability in connection with an order will not exceed the amount the customer paid for the affected order.
Nothing within these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability where such liability cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Return and Refund Policy
Every product is manufactured according to artwork and specifications approved by the customer. Customers are responsible for inspecting their order after it has been delivered.
Any complaint involving a printing mistake, manufacturing fault, or failure to follow the approved specifications must be submitted within 3 business days after the order is received.
Customers are required to provide:
The relevant order number.
A clear explanation of the problem.
Supporting photographs or videos.
Any additional evidence reasonably requested by our team.
Our internal management or quality control team will assess whether the reported issue occurred during our production process.
If the error is confirmed as the responsibility of The Packaging Boxes Australia, we may reproduce the affected order without additional production charges. Because our products are custom made, a full refund is not generally provided when a reprint can reasonably correct the problem.
If requested, the complete defective order must be returned within 7 business days. Unless another arrangement has been agreed, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Charges relating to rush production, express delivery, design, setup, and other expedited services are non-refundable.
Payments, Order Placement and Cancellations
All prices displayed or quoted by The Packaging Boxes Australia are stated in the applicable quoted currency unless another arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
Payments may be received directly by The Packaging Boxes Australia or through an authorised payment provider. Production will not start until the required payment, including any applicable tax, shipping, setup, or additional service charges, has been received.
To proceed with an order, the customer must supply final artwork, specifications, quantities, dimensions, materials, printing requirements, finishing choices, and delivery details.
An order will only move into production after:
Final artwork or the relevant proof has been approved.
Every required specification has been confirmed.
The required payment has been received.
The Packaging Boxes Australia has confirmed the order.
After an order has entered production, changes or cancellations cannot be accepted.
If cancellation is requested shortly after proof approval but before production starts, an administration charge of £20 and a deduction of at least 5% of the order value may apply.
If additional work has already been completed before cancellation is requested, the applicable charges may increase. A cancellation requested after 24 hours may result in a deduction of up to 50% of the order value to cover design, setup, materials, labour, and other resources already committed.
Cancellation after 24 hours is not guaranteed and remains dependent on whether production has already commenced.
Design Orders
Orders made specifically for design services are final. Payments relating to completed or partially completed design services are non-refundable and cannot be converted into store credit.
VAT Policy
VAT will be charged where required under applicable law.
Customers requesting tax exemption must provide valid supporting documents before placing or confirming an order. We cannot guarantee that tax adjustments can be completed once an order has already been processed.
Customer-Submitted Artwork and Files
Customers should supply print-ready artwork using CMYK format.
The Packaging Boxes Australia is not responsible for poor print results caused by:
Low-resolution or pixelated artwork.
Incorrect colour modes.
Fonts that are missing.
Incorrect measurements or dimensions.
Distorted images or graphics.
Artwork that has not been prepared correctly.
Colour differences resulting from conversion to CMYK.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the accuracy, alignment, orientation, measurements, spelling, grammar, page sequence, images, logos, colours, and all other components contained within submitted files.
While we take reasonable care when handling customer files, The Packaging Boxes Australia is not liable for the loss, corruption, or damage of submitted artwork or data. Customers should therefore maintain backup copies of their files.
By providing artwork to us, you confirm that you own the submitted material or have obtained all permissions required for printing and commercial use.
We reserve the right to refuse any order that appears illegal, offensive, harmful, fraudulent, or likely to violate another party’s rights.
Proofs and Colour Accuracy
Customers must thoroughly review each proof before providing approval.
The customer is responsible for reviewing:
Spelling and grammar.
Layout and alignment.
Measurements and orientation.
Bleed and safe areas.
Cutting, folding, and die lines.
Images and graphical elements.
Barcodes and contact information.
Product details.
Transparency and overprint settings.
Final content and positioning of the design.
Production will only begin once the required proof has been approved. Any production timeframe starts after proof approval, payment, specifications, and all other necessary order information have been completed.
The Packaging Boxes Australia is not responsible for delays resulting from late proof approval or incomplete information supplied by a customer.
By approving a proof, the customer confirms acceptance of all content, dimensions, positioning, spelling, design elements, and specifications displayed within that proof.
Colours in the finished print may vary from those shown on a computer, mobile phone, or other digital display. Exact colour reproduction cannot be guaranteed because monitors, printing techniques, materials, inks, coatings, laminations, and finishing processes can produce differences.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide a close colour match. However, small colour variations will not usually be treated as a printing fault or qualify the order for a complimentary reprint.
Where precise colour matching is required, customers should request a physical proof or specialist colour-matching service. Extra charges and additional production time may apply.
No Liability for Approved Errors
The Packaging Boxes Australia is not responsible for mistakes that were present in artwork or proofs approved by the customer, including:
Spelling, punctuation, or grammatical mistakes.
Incorrect typefaces or fonts.
Content that is incorrectly aligned.
Incorrect crop marks or die lines.
Problems relating to overprinting.
Poor-quality images or graphics.
Incorrect measurements.
Cracking that occurs along folds.
Colour differences within accepted printing tolerances.
Incorrect details provided by the customer.
Overruns and Underruns
Because of standard manufacturing processes, the quantity ultimately produced may differ slightly from the amount originally ordered.
An overrun or underrun of up to 5% is regarded as an acceptable printing-industry tolerance. Where the delivered quantity is lower, an adjustment may be calculated using the actual quantity where appropriate.
Any additional units supplied within the accepted tolerance may be provided without an extra charge.
Production, Delivery and Shipping
Production will commence only after:
Print-ready artwork has been supplied.
The artwork has completed our pre-production review.
The final proof has received approval.
All required specifications have been confirmed.
Full payment has been received.
Our usual production timeframe is approximately 12–14 business days following final approval. This timeframe represents the estimated period needed to manufacture the products and prepare the completed order for dispatch.
Rush production and express delivery services may be available for an additional fee. Their availability must be confirmed before an order is placed.
Production may be completed at a facility selected according to order requirements, production availability, pricing, materials, and turnaround requirements. This will not reduce the agreed quality of the products or alter the confirmed specifications.
Customers who require production at a particular facility must inform us before approving their order. Requests to change the production location cannot be accepted after manufacturing has commenced.
We aim to manufacture and dispatch orders within the estimated timeframe. However, delays may arise because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
Courier interruptions.
Severe weather conditions.
Customs delays.
Equipment breakdown.
Technical difficulties.
Shortages of materials.
Labour disruption.
Public holidays.
Government restrictions.
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
A production or delivery delay does not automatically provide the customer with the right to cancel an order.
Where a customer has paid a separate fee for rush or expedited service and we fail to provide that expedited service because of circumstances within our control, the additional expedited service charge may be refunded. This does not necessarily provide the customer with a right to cancel the complete order.
Free standard shipping may be provided to one qualifying delivery address for each eligible order. Delivery to multiple addresses or locations outside the standard delivery area may involve additional charges.
Customers are responsible for applicable duties, taxes, customs clearance, and import requirements relating to shipments where these requirements apply.
Courier delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. The Packaging Boxes Australia is not responsible for delays, theft, loss, or damage occurring while an order is being handled by an independent courier except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Customers should notify us about lost or damaged shipments as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs, packaging evidence, tracking details, and any other information required to support a courier claim.
Extra handling or shipping charges may apply when an order has to be resent because the customer provided an incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible delivery address.
